x [OLD] Hand-Dyeing Textiles

In this class you'll be walked through the basics of hand-dyeing textiles by Kristen Elrod of Alanah Textiles, and will both hear about and get hands on experience with dyes, techniques and processes for creating beautifully hand-dyed patterns. Learning about how fabrics react to certain dyes, and the steps it takes to create gorgeous designs on things like pillows, tea towels and more. You'll leave the class with a new found appreciation for textiles, the hand-dyeing process, and, of course, a couple napkins you dyed yourself.

All materials will be provided.

Anyone is welcome that wants to be creative and learn a new skill.
